Bishkek, April 1, 2026 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Republic's Trade Representative in Turkiye, Chyngyz Esengul Uulu, met with Orhan Aydin, Chairman of the Board of OSTIM (Organized Industrial Zone of the Middle East Center for Industry and Trade).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of Kyrgyz-Turkish trade and economic relations, expanding industrial cooperation, and prospects for joint investment projects.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the agro-industrial sector and agricultural processing. The possibilities of establishing modern processing facilities with high added value in the Kyrgyz Republic, including apricot, nut, and apple processing, were discussed.

The parties also emphasized the feasibility of using a cluster approach in the Kyrgyz Republic, uniting raw material producers, processors, logistics, and export-oriented companies, as well as attracting industrial partners from Turkiye, including companies within the OSTIM structure.

OSTİM (OSTİM Organize Sanayi Bölgesi) is one of Turkiye's largest organized industrial zones, located in Ankara. It unites over 6,000 enterprises in the mechanical engineering, metalworking, energy, and industrial manufacturing sectors, with a well-developed system of cooperation and integration.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to practically develop joint projects and agreed to intensify cooperation in priority areas.
