Bishkek, April 3, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Health Damir Osmonov met with the Representative of the World Health Organization in Kyrgyzstan Liviu Vedrasco.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the main areas of bilateral cooperation aimed at further developing the country's healthcare system.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of digitizing healthcare, developing human resources, strengthening laboratory services, combating antimicrobial resistance, and improving the emergency preparedness and response system.
The role of the Country Cooperation Strategy of Kyrgyzstan with the World Health Organization for 2024-2030 was also highlighted, as a key instrument that ensures the alignment of international technical support with national priorities for health development.
