Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz citizens' spending on vacations abroad from January to September of 2025 is estimated at $423.3 million. These figures were released by the National Statistical Committee.
Compared to the same period of 2024, this figure has decreased by 1%.
At the same time, tourism market participants have noted a shift in Kyrgyzstanis' preferences when choosing international destinations. Previously, one major domestic travel company told the agency that families with children most often choose Egypt and the Vietnamese resort of Phu Quoc due to the all-inclusive format, well-developed hotel infrastructure, entertainment, and comfortable conditions for family vacations.
At the same time, young people prefer more dynamic destinations. Popular locations include Thailand, Vietnam, and Dubai, where tourists are drawn by the vibrant city life, entertainment, and vibrant nightlife.
