According to preliminary estimates, the gross domestic product for January-December 2025 exceeded 1.9 trillion soms, increase of 11.1 percent compared to January-December 2024. This was reported by Baktybek Kudaibergenov, Chairman of the National Statistical Committee.
According to him, industrial output in January-December 2025 amounted to 799.7 billion soms, a 10.6 percent increase compared to January 2024, driven by growth in pharmaceutical production (1.7 times), rubber, plastic, and construction materials (35.7 percent), wood, paper, and printing products (30.5 percent), food products (including beverages) and tobacco (30.1 percent), chemical products (19.8 percent), and mining (14.2 percent).
Positive trends were observed in construction, where production increased by 21.1 percent, wholesale and retail trade by 17.8 percent, and agriculture by 2.2 percent.
