Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's international reserves increased by 48.5% as of the end of September 2025, reaching over $7.5 billion by October 1, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, told at press conference in Bishkek.

According to him, the growth in reserves is an important indicator of the stability of the national economy and the country's financial system. Strengthening and increasing international reserves remains one of the key areas of our work. Maintaining reserves at a sufficient level not only strengthens investor confidence but also serves as a reliable buffer to minimize possible external economic shocks, Kozubekov noted.

He emphasized that the complex of measures implemented by the National Bank is aimed at ensuring price stability and curbing excessive price increases in the country's economy.
