Kyrgyzstan's strategic railway projects presented in Chengdu

Bishkek, April 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Roman Spassky, First Deputy General Director of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" (NC "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu"), participated in the 8th International Exhibition "Supply Chain and Port Logistics 2026."

According to the company, the exhibition began on April 27 and will conclude on April 29, 2026, in Chengdu, China.

The event was attended by representatives from more than 50 countries, including government agencies, port operators, railway administrations, air carriers, trucking companies, and other participants in the transport and logistics industry.

On April 27, Roman Spassky participated in key events on the first day of the exhibition, including the opening ceremony, an exhibition tour, and business meetings with international partners. He also delivered a presentation at the 10th International Conference on the Development of Eurasian Multimodal Transportation, presenting the Kyrgyz Republic's position on the development of the transport and logistics industry and international cooperation.

He noted that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating sustainable development and strengthening its economic potential. The role of President Sadyr Zhaparov in supporting strategic infrastructure projects and international cooperation was also emphasized. Furthermore, key industry priorities were outlined: the development of transport corridors, infrastructure modernization, and the implementation of modern logistics solutions.

It is noted that the main focus of the speech was on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project as a strategically important initiative aimed at creating a new international transport corridor and unlocking the transit potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
