Bishkek, March 12, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's vocational schools will strengthen their teaching of "green" skills and principles of environmental responsibility.

This was announced during a meeting at the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center (RSMC), where representatives of the Ministry of Education and ADB experts discussed the integration of environmental aspects into the curriculum.

According to the Ministry of Education, Asian Development Bank expert Maksat Abdigaparov emphasized the importance and relevance of incorporating green skills into the curriculum. Particular attention was paid to environmental protection aspects, which should be applied both in theoretical classes and in students' practical training.

The deputy directors noted that initial vocational education institutions already teach green economy principles and waste minimization, taking into account the industry-specific nature of their professions. This helps develop modern environmental competencies in students at vocational schools.
