Bishkek, Dec. 11, 2025. /Kabar/. Kabar agency hosted the presentation of the new multilingual online tourism portal Nomad.kg, which aims to become a modern digital guide to all regions of the country. The site was designed as a unified platform for local and international travelers and offers a unique opportunity to discover Kyrgyzstan in a new format.
According to Gamal Soronkulov, the project's author and a representative of Destination Talas and Eco-Ayan, work on the portal began in the summer of 2024 through the efforts of an initiative group of activists and tourism professionals. "Nomad.kg brings together information about natural and cultural sites, museums, ethno-locations, agritourism farms, nature reserves, ancient settlements, and culinary routes. The platform offers photos, videos, geolocation, historical information, and unique stories about every place in Kyrgyzstan," he noted.
The developers emphasized that the project covers all regions of the republic and aims to create a modern digital image of the country as a vibrant and accessible tourist destination.
Vlad Ushakov, a representative of the Union of Photojournalists and the project's author, added that more than 90% of the country's territory is mountainous, combining natural beauty, biodiversity, cultural heritage, and extensive tourism opportunities. "Nomad.kg will become the main digital window into Kyrgyzstan's tourism landscape, from the initial trip idea to the final itinerary," he emphasized.
Aleksandr Kobzev, a co-author of the project and a representative of the Tsur Foundation, said that a mobile app will soon be developed for site users, allowing them to create itineraries even without internet access, making travel in Kyrgyzstan even more convenient and safe.
The Nomad.kg portal combines comprehensive information and interactivity, creating a unique experience for tourists: from trip planning to exploring little-known corners of the country, including mountain trails, ethnic villages, national festivals, and culinary routes.
With the launch of Nomad.kg, Kyrgyzstan gains a modern digital tourism promotion tool that makes the country accessible, understandable, and attractive to all travelers eager to discover its natural wealth and cultural heritage.
