Bishkek, March 5, 2026. /Kabar/. Osh Mayor Zhanarbek Akaev met with the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Osh city, Mukhtar Akhat.
According to the city administration, the parties discussed promising areas for developing bilateral relations. Proposals were made to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the sister city agreements between Osh and the Kazakh cities of Shymkent and Taraz.
The parties discussed a cooperation program, including the organization of planned sporting events, as well as strengthening ties in education and other sectors.
During the conversation, it was also noted that relations between the two countries are based on friendship, mutual trust, and strategic partnership. The importance of continuing and deepening existing good traditions and previously reached agreements was emphasized.
