Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Number of major projects with a total value of 11.8 billion som have been implemented in Talas city. This was revealed during a working visit by Sadyr Zhaparov to Talas region, where the head of state reviewed the region's socio-economic indicators.
According to the presidential press service, the completed projects include the "Balastan" children's play center, the "Baatyrlar" central park, a renovated central square, the K. Nurzhanov Alley, a local branch of the Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, and the "Akylman" Presidential Lyceum.
Furthermore, 30 modern Yutong electric buses were acquired to develop the city's transport system. The city also saw the construction of the "Talas Arena" stadium, six mini-football pitches, as well as an asphalt-concrete plant and a reinforced concrete plant.
