Bishkek, April 3, 2025. /Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniar Amangeldiev met with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that during the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda of mutual interest, focusing on the current state and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-British cooperation. Both sides noted the continuing positive dynamics of interaction between the two countries.
The first deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, among the important events of Kyrgyz-British relations, noted the signing of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the British company United Concrete Canvas on the construction of a modern plant for the production of cement composite materials in Kyrgyzstan on February 6.
Daniar Amangeldiev noted that the implementation of this investment project is a vivid example of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and will contribute to the development of industry in Kyrgyzstan.
Ambassador Nicholas Bowler congratulated the Kyrgyz side on the successful and historic resolution of the issue of delimitation and demarcation of borders between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, noting this as an important moment in strengthening stability and security in the region.
In addition, the ambassador informed about the upcoming visit to Bishkek of the UKEF (UK Export Finance) delegation headed by Regional Director Shabnei Alp. Nicholas Bowler expressed hope that during the visit the parties will be able to hold substantive negotiations and discuss in detail the mechanisms for the implementation of joint investment projects. At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in the further development and strengthening of Kyrgyz-British cooperation in all areas.
