Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Kyrgyzstan for state visit

BIshkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived today in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit.

According to the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, President Sadyr Zhaparov greeted the distinguished guest at Manas International Airport.

The flags of the two countries were hung on flagpoles, a carpet was laid out, and an honor guard was in place.

Traditional yurts were also set up on the platform, and ethnic warriors demonstrated elements of nomadic culture with falcons and taigans.

The heads of state were then treated to a short concert featuring Kyrgyz artists performing musical pieces from both nations.

During the state visit, tomorrow, November 26, the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Russia will discuss current bilateral issues and prospects for further strengthening cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership. The signing of a number of bilateral documents is also planned.
