Russian president's state visit to Kyrgyzstan concluded

Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, which took place from November 25-27, has concluded.

According to the presidential administration, on the first day of the visit, heads of state Sadyr Zhaparov and Vladimir Putin laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame in Victory Square in Bishkek.

The following day, the official meeting ceremony between the leaders took place at Yntymak Ordo. The heads of state then held talks in an expanded format. They discussed key issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, as well as prospects for developing cooperation.

Sadyr Zhaparov and Vladimir Putin expressed satisfaction with the results of the talks and signed number of bilateral documents aimed at enhancing cooperation, as well as a Joint Statement on Deepening the Alliance and Strategic Partnership.

Following this, President Sadyr Zhaparov made statement to the media following his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, outlining the countries' shared goal of reaching the $5 billion mark in mutual trade in the coming years.

Furthermore, ahead of the next meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the heads of state of the Organization were presented with brief ethnocultural program at the Ala-Archa State Residence. The distinguished guests were also introduced to the Kyrgyz Village Ethnographic Complex.

The following day, the leaders participated in the next meeting of the Collective Security Council.

Following the state visit, Russian President Vladimir Putin left Bishkek on November 27.
