Bishkek, April 23, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov sent a telegram of condolences to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in connection with the terrorist attack that took place in the city of Pahalgam, the press service of the head of state reported.
"I received the news of the terrorist attack in the city of Pahalgam with deep sorrow, as a result of which innocent people died. This crime cannot be justified, and we believe that its organizers and perpetrators should be punished as they deserve.
I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, share their grief and wish a speedy recovery to the injured and wounded," the telegram says.
At least 28 people, including two foreign tourists, were killed in a shooting in the Kashmir region in northern India, and about 30 more were injured.
