Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to make state visit to Kyrgyzstan in 2026. This was announced by Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev at a press conference on the results of 2025.
The minister assesses the level of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations at 11 on a scale of 10. In 2024-2025, numerous high-level contacts took place between the two countries, including a state visit by President Sadyr Zhaparov to China.
"2025 was very fruitful and successful year for Kyrgyz-Chinese relations. Active cooperation is expected to continue in 2026 as we prepare for the state visit of the PRC President to Kyrgyzstan. Preparatory work has already begun, and the meeting's agenda will be extensive," noted Jeenbek Kulubaev.
