Tajik delegation studies Uzbek experience in agriculture

A delegation of entrepreneurs led by Deputy Hokim of Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan Anvar Yakubi visited Bukhara region, UzA reported.

The purpose of the trip is to study the best practices of Bukhara region in the fields of production, agriculture, and industry, exchange ideas, and develop multifaceted cooperation between the two regions.

The guests became familiar with the activities of the modern livestock complex created by Bukhara Agro Cluster Chorva LLC in Karaulbazar district. Special attention was paid to the advantages of the cluster method in the development of livestock breeds, the provision of feed, veterinary services, and the development of animal husbandry.

The Sogdian specialists were greatly impressed by the activities of the Bukhara Agro Cluster DZZ LLC milk and dairy processing enterprise, as well as the modern laboratory for determining soil composition.

The delegation also visited the greenhouse complex of the Bukhara Varnet cluster and got acquainted with the vegetable growing process. At the Amirtex sewing factory in Shafirkan district, the guests inquired about the quality of finished products and their export potential.

The delegation from Sughd region highly appreciated the business projects implemented in Bukhara region and their results.

An agreement has been reached on cooperation in the field of tourism. Special attention will also be paid to the development of tourism through the intensification of cultural and educational exchanges between regions, festivals, and other events.
