The Uzbekistan delegation, led by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, holds meetings in Budapest to develop cooperation with Hungary, UzA reported.

From May 17 to 19, negotiations were held with the heads of leading Hungarian companies in the Eastern European market specializing in the management and development of industrial zones, wholesale and retail trade networks, infrastructure and road construction, digitalization, energy, electrical equipment manufacturing, as well as project financing.

According to the Ministry, during the dialogue, representatives of Uzbekistan’s business community reached agreements with partners on mutual direct investments and implementing joint projects involving best practices and technologies. Initiatives aimed at producing products with high added value and high demand, and providing preferential export opportunities to promising markets, were discussed.

To ensure the implementation of these agreements, which will be included in the multifaceted cooperation programs between Uzbekistan and Hungary, separate project managers will be assigned, as well as a mechanism for monitoring the implementation of each stage has also been introduced.
