Cholpon-Ata, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The 4th Meeting of Industry Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states opened at State Residence No. 2 in Cholpon-Ata, chaired by Kyrgyzstan.
The event is attended by Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan; Xin Guobin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China; Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan; Iran Sharhan, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan; Kabir Sherali, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan; Andrei Konyushko, First Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus; Ivan Kulikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia; Haradanahalli Devegowda Kumaraswamy, Minister of Heavy Industry and Minister of Steel of India; Seyed Mohammad Atabak, Minister of Industry, Mines, and Commerce of Iran; Sohail Khan, Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO; and Marwan Alex Ayyash, Advisor to the Deputy Head of Mission and Supervisor of Labor Issues in Pakistan.
The meeting of SCO industry ministers is a key format for intergovernmental interaction aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation, expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investment, and supporting the development of the industrial sectors of the organization's member states.
As a reminder, Bishkek hosted exhibition as part of the IV Meeting of Industry Ministers of the SCO Member States on June 4.
