Bishkek, May 29, 2026 /Kabar/. Welcoming ceremony for participants of the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum was held in Astana.
At the congress center, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev officially welcomed Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also attended the event.
They were joined at the forum by Cuban Vice President Salvador Mesa, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade Seyed Atabak, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar, and UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
After posing for a group photo, the participants proceeded to the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
The 5th Eurasian Economic Forum is being held under the theme "The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence."
