Bishkek, June 19, 2026 /Kabar/. Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan, led by Chairman Mederbek Satyev, arrived in Astana to participate in 2d Conference of Supreme Courts of OTS member states. The forum will be held on June 19 in Turkistan.
The Kyrgyz delegation included Supreme Court Judges Margarita Melnikova and Inara Gilyazetdinova, Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Court Ruslan Myrzalimov, Head of the Department of Public Relations, Media, and International Relations Savitakhun Isakov, and the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan, Kudaibergen Bazarbaev.
During the meeting, Mederbek Satyev expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for the excellent organization of the conference and the warm welcome of the delegations.
The parties discussed developing cooperation between the judicial systems of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, the introduction of digital technologies in judicial practice, judicial training, and strengthening cooperation on international platforms.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan noted that Kazakhstan is implementing consistent reforms aimed at modernizing the judicial system and digitalizing justice.
"We are particularly interested in the experience of digitalizing the judicial system and implementing modern information technologies. These processes are important for increasing access to justice and strengthening public trust in the judicial system," Satyev emphasized.
The parties also exchanged experiences in implementing e-justice and digital services. Particular attention was paid to investment justice and protecting investors' rights.
Satyev noted that work continues in Kyrgyzstan on the digital transformation of the judicial system and the implementation of electronic services for litigants.
Furthermore, the parties emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between the supreme courts, sharing experiences in digitalization and judicial training, and strengthening the uniformity of judicial practice.
The key topics of the conference include the digitalization of judicial processes, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, and the development of an online platform for the exchange of judicial practice.
Following the forum, the chief justices of OTS supreme courts to sign a joint statement aimed at strengthening interjudicial cooperation.
