Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund plans to finance Kulun small hydroelectric power plant, Osh oblast administration reports. Zamirbek Osmonov, Igbal Babayev, the fund's representatives met with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in Osh oblast Elchibek Zhantaev.
According to the Osh administration office, the parties discussed cooperation since the foundation's establishment and the progress of social and infrastructure projects.
It was also noted that a project to build a cardio center in Osh was signed, and this initiative was important step in improving the region's healthcare services. In addition, it was reported that the fund plans to finance Kulun small hydroelectric power plant with capacity of up to 6 MW in Kara-Kulja region. Elchibek Zhantaev expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support in promoting new projects.
The parties emphasized the need to further expand cooperation and that joint efforts will make significant contribution to the development of the southern regions.
