Bishkek, May 28, 2026. /Kabar/. Bishkek and the Chinese city of Zhengzhou have agreed to establish friendly exchange relations.
The document was signed in Cholpon-Ata during the 5th Forum of regional heads of SCO Member States and a meeting of mayors of sister cities.
As Bishkek Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva told Kabar, this agreement will allow for increased cooperation in various areas, including education, culture, sports, and new technologies.
"Bishkek cooperates with a number of cities, including sister cities. As part of Kyrgyzstan's SCO Presidency this year, a number of events are being held. In particular, the Delphic Games were held in the capital. This was a significant event for all countries. Bishkek will continue to cooperate with its sister cities. We share experiences in the application of new technologies. Our schools actively collaborate within the framework of existing agreements. We will continue to strengthen our relationship as much as possible," she said.
