Bishkek, June 5, 2026. /Kabar/. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Youth Digital Forum and the largest regional IT platform, KIT Forum 2026, are taking place in Bishkek. The event brought together approximately 3,000 participants, including IT experts, representatives of large businesses, investors, and delegations from SCO member states from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, the United States, and other countries.
The forum also included the innovative exhibition KIT EXPO 2026, which showcases joint digital projects and cutting-edge technological developments.
One of the most notable exhibits was the first multifunctional unmanned aerial vehicle, developed by the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Automation, and Geomechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan.

Institute Director Baktybek Sultanaliev reported that the drone could be used in agricultural technology and reconnaissance work, and its testing is planned for the coming weeks.

Furthermore, a wind turbine developed by Russian scientists, with a power output 5-6 times greater than existing analogues, is on display at the exhibition.
US artificial intelligence strategist Amy Peck, one of the world's 50 most influential women in high tech, praised the potential of Kyrgyz youth.
"I saw that Kyrgyzstan has created a good foundation for the development of artificial intelligence. The country has great potential for bringing AI projects to the international market," she noted.

Forum Director Tattu Mambetalieva emphasized that the event has expanded beyond its national scope and acquired an international status. She noted that security issues for new technologies are among the important topics on the agenda of SCO member states.

The forum will continue on June 5. Following the forum, the KIT Awards 2026 to hold ceremony for the best digital transformation cases.
Awards will be presented in the categories of "Best Digital Bank," "Best Coworking Space," "Best Educational Project in IT," and "Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Business Processes."
