Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2026. /Kabar/. Bishkek's wastewater treatment plant is being reconstructed with the help of Vietnamese investors, the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev told while showing off the reconstruction work at the facility.
According to him, the operation of the wastewater treatment plant is currently fully automated.
"Previously, water treatment was carried out manually. Now new equipment has been installed and its operation is automated. Equipment imported from Germany and Italy is used here. Previously, it was impossible to enter this facility. The reconstruction work will be fully completed by December of this year," the mayor said.
