Bishkek, May 24, 2026. /Kabar/. The 20th anniversary international festival "Oimo-2026" will be held in Bishkek from May 27 to 31, the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reported.
The ministry reported that the festival is one of the largest cultural events in the field of traditional culture and crafts, held continuously since 2006 and aimed at preserving, developing, and promoting national heritage in the global cultural space.
The event will include exhibitions and fairs, scientific and cultural events, master classes, creative meetings, and ethnocultural programs. The festival will feature artisans, artists, designers, and cultural representatives from Kyrgyzstan and abroad, who will present their work.
Furthermore, the festival promotes the development of traditional crafts, the exchange of creative experiences, the strengthening of international cultural ties, and the promotion of ethnocultural values.
The international festival is held annually with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
