Cabinet of Ministers imposes ban on New Year's corporate parties and gifts for management

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev announced restrictions on New Year's corporate events in government agencies, as well as on government executives receiving valuable gifts from their employees.

Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the Presidential Administration's Information Policy Service of Kyrgyzstan shared on his social media page.

According to him, the head of the Cabinet noted that ministries and agencies held New Year's corporate events annually, which in some cases resulted in excessive financial expenses. Furthermore, employees were often forced to purchase gifts for management and organize holiday baskets.

In this regard, this year, decision was made to impose restrictions on holding New Year's corporate events in government agencies and prohibit executives from accepting valuable gifts from employees of their agencies.

The head of the Cabinet called on local executives to strictly adhere to the established restrictions, avoiding their misuse, and to ensure that New Year's events are held for children.
