Bishkek, April 29, 2026. /Kabar/. Head of the National Investment Agency Ravshanbek Sabirov met with a delegation from China Energy Engineering Investment.
According to the agency, at the meeting the parties discussed cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources and the implementation of investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. Information was also provided on the country's investment climate and current state support measures.
"Kyrgyzstan considers the development of renewable energy as one of its priority areas. We are open to cooperation with international partners and are ready to provide support at all stages of the implementation of investment projects," Sabirov said.
Chinese side expressed interest in investing up to $1 billion in the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of up to 700 MW (500 MW - solar, 200 MW - wind).
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue, jointly develop specific areas of cooperation, and consider investment initiatives at a practical level.
