Chinese investors plan to launch several production facilities in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Chinese investors are considering launching production facilities in Kyrgyzstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

A delegation from China's Guangdong Province, interested in implementing investment projects in the country, has arrived in Kyrgyzstan.

During a meeting with Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of Chinese companies expressed their intention to open several manufacturing facilities in the country in the clothing, construction materials, and furniture industries. Particular attention was paid to the location of production facilities and the creation of favorable conditions for investors. Temir Sariev proposed exploring the possibility of locating enterprises in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, as well as in the country's regions.

Furthermore, the delegation announced plans to implement a tourism project—the construction of a hotel complex in the Jalal-Abad region.
