Bishkek, March 14, 2025. /Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev met with a delegation from Shaanxi Province of the People's Republic of China led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the province Xing Shanping.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that during the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Shaanxi Province.
Bakyt Torobaev noted that in recent years, the Kyrgyz-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership has reached its historical height. In 2024, through joint efforts, large-scale projects were launched - the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the opening of the Bedel checkpoint, as well as the launch of joint investment projects.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shaanxi Province of China Xing Shanping expressed gratitude for the hospitality and noted that there are strong friendly ties between the two peoples. She emphasized the importance of the visit to Kyrgyzstan in the context of strengthening cooperation and further developing joint projects, indicating readiness to implement projects in the fields of agriculture, energy, as well as transport and logistics projects.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in various areas, including trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, interaction in the fields of agriculture, archaeological research.
The parties emphasized their readiness to further deepen mutually beneficial partnership.
