Bishkek, April 7, 2026 /Kabar/. International law has been replaced by the law of the strong, but this should not be the case. CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov stated this to the Belarusian television channel "First Information." Key points from the interview are being published by a number of international publications.

"The year 2026 has shown that, unfortunately, not only for our countries, members of the CSTO, but for the entire world, international law stopped working, and now the law of the strong prevails. I believe these times will pass.

"Common sense exists among leaders of states of vast Eurasian continent, as well in Africa and America, and people will eventually understand that they need to sit down and talk; there is no other solution," Taalatbek Masadykov emphasized.

He also emphasized that no matter how complex the differences, resolving conflicts through diplomatic means is the most preferable option for achieving peaceful agreements that create the foundation for stability.
