Department of Kyrgyzstan's precious metals contributes state budget revenues

Bishkek, June 3, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Finance Minister Ruslan Suinaliev visited the department of precious metals, where he learned about the institution's current activities, achievements, and promising development areas, Ministry of Finance reports.

During the meeting, Department Director Almaz Kadyrakunov presented information on the institution's activities and ongoing efforts to develop the industry, noting that the department of precious metals, established in 1991, is the primary government body regulating the precious metals and gemstones sector in the country.

Particular attention was paid to modernizing the department's operations. In recent years, digital transformation measures have been implemented, interdepartmental data exchange has been established, and the efficiency of management processes has been improved.

The fund is steadily replenished and contributes to increasing state budget revenues. During the visit, the minister toured the exhibition, a gemstone cutting and processing workshop, and the fund's unique exhibits.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the development of the jewelry industry, the training of young specialists, and the expansion of intersectoral cooperation. Following the visit, Ruslan Suinaliev praised the department's activities and instructed it to continue working to replenish the state fund, strengthen digitalization, and expand investment potential. He noted that strengthening the state financial system contributes to the development of the precious metals sector, the effective management of state assets, and increased economic resilience.
