Bishkek, June 19, 2026 /Kabar/. The special documentary is being filmed to mark the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), SCO Deputy Secretary-General Oleg Kopylov spoke at Media Forum in Issyk-Kul.
According to him, the project is being implemented as part of the partnership established between the organization and leading media outlets. The film will chronicle the organization's journey over the past quarter century, its achievements, and its role on the international stage.
Oleg Kopylov emphasized that in today's information society, the SCO places particular emphasis on cultivating a positive image in the global media environment and promptly disseminating accurate and reliable information to the public.
The anniversary events will culminate with the next SCO summit, which will take place in Bishkek this September.
