Bishkek, April 2, 2026. /Kabar/. Dummy ammunitions fell from a Su-25 aircraft at a Russian airbase in Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense reports Kabar news agency.
According to their data, on March 31, at approximately 5:25 p.m., two dummy ammunitions fell from a Su-25 aircraft at Russian airbase during training flight using training air-to-air weapons. The ammunitions fell onto vacant lot during the third training turn.
It was noted that the Russian Aerospace Forces command has decided to appoint a special commission, which will arrive shortly.
Furthermore, by decision of the Kyrgyz Defense Minister, training flights have been suspended until the cause of the incident is determined.
"Kyrgyz law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative measures, and the military prosecutor's office is conducting an inquiry into the incident," the ministry noted.
There were no casualties or damage.
