Dushanbe hosts 3d meeting of Central Asian Security Council Secretaries

Bishkek, April 24, 2026. /Kabar/. Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Adilet Orozbekov today, April 24, participated in the Third Meeting of Central Asian Security Council Secretaries, held in Dushanbe.

Secretaries of the Security Councils of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan also participated in the meeting.

They discussed current issues related to ensuring regional and border security and expanding cooperation in combating terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, including drug trafficking, and cyber threats.

The secretaries also expressed concern about events unfolding in the Middle East and their impact on regional security in Central Asia.

They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in transport and food security in Central Asia.
