Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2025. /Kabar/. First 11 months of 2025 shows that State Tax Service collected 19 billion 493.06 million soms in excise tax revenue from goods produced in the country and imported from EAEU member states.
According to the agency, excise tax collections increased by 3 billion 1.7 million soms, or 17.3%, compared to the same period in 2024.
From January to November 2025, excise tax revenue from excisable products produced in the Kyrgyz Republic totaled 4 billion 826.3 million soms, including 3 billion 448.3 million soms from alcoholic beverages, 1 billion 297.0 million soms from soft drinks, 70.0 million soms from petroleum products, and 8.2 million soms from tobacco products.
In addition, excisable products imported from EAEU member states generated 14 billion 666.8 million soms, including 9 billion 111.7 million soms from tobacco products, 3 billion 670.9 million soms from petroleum products, 653.7 million soms from alcoholic beverages, and 749.2 million soms from soft drinks.
As a reminder, mandatory labeling of alcohol and tobacco products with identification tools was introduced in the Kyrgyz Republic on July 1, 2021. Also, 12 tobacco importers, 34 alcohol producers, and 96 alcohol importers are registered and receiving labeling codes in the Product Labeling information system.
During the first 11 months of 2025, 223.7 million labeling codes were issued. 157.2 million codes were for tobacco products, 42.6 million codes for alcohol products, 23.7 million codes for light industry products, 167,900 codes for footwear, and 3,300 codes for perfumes.
