Bishkek, June 2, 2026. /Kabar/. Comparative monitoring of prices for basic foodstuffs was conducted in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry reports.
The monitoring results revealed that carrots in Kyrgyzstan increased in price by 3 percent, vegetable oil by 0.9 percent, and local flour by 0.7 percent. Also, mutton, beef and eggs increased slightly by 0.2 percent, and rice and bakery products by 0.1 percent. At the same time, the price of potatoes decreased by 4.4 percent, milk and onions by 0.2 percent, and sugar by 0.1 percent.
In Kazakhstan, rice prices rose by 4.4 percent, milk by 1.9 percent, and bread by 0.1 percent. On the contrary, butter prices fell by 4.4 percent, flour by 2.7 percent, eggs by 1.6 percent, pasta by 1.5 percent, potatoes, carrots, onions, and vegetable oil by 1.2-1.4 percent.
In Russia, on the other hand, onions rose by 0.8 percent, potatoes by 0.5 percent, carrots, and sugar by 0.3 percent. On the other hand, eggs fell by 0.7 percent, mutton by 0.5 percent, butter, and flour by 0.2 percent, and milk and vegetable oil by 0.1 percent.
