Bishkek, June 15, 2026. /Kabar/. In January-May 2026, the gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 781.1 billion soms, Deputy Chairman of National Statistics Committee, Zainidin Zhumaliev told at press conference.
According to him, according to preliminary estimates, this indicator increased by 12.2% compared to January-May 2025.
Zainidin Zhumaliev also noted that the volume of industrial production in 5 months amounted to 374.7 billion soms.
"The growth in industrial production compared to January-May 2025 was ensured by an increase in the production of metals, food products, refined petroleum products, construction materials, vehicles, wood and paper products, printing, chemical and pharmaceutical products," he said.
