Bishkek, April 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Bishkek City Hall staff, together with representatives of the Oktyabrsky district administration and Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev, held a mass tree planting event in Adinai Park.
According to the city hall, Bekzhan Usenaliev, Chairman of the Bishkek City Council, also joined the event. Two hundred trees were planted in Adinai Park.
The mayor then continued to participate in the tree planting event in Fuchik Park, where, together with staff from the Leninsky district and volunteers from the "Zhashtar Kyimyly" movement planted approximately 200 more trees.
Mass tree plantings also took place in other districts of the capital. Total of 740 trees were planted across the city as part of today's cleanup day. Since the beginning of the spring planting campaign, more than 7,600 trees have already been planted in the capital.
The mayor's office reminded that by 2026, the Bishkek city administration plans to plant more than 20,000 green spaces.
