IBC Summer Fest 2026 brings together Kyrgyzstan's business community

Bishkek, June 16, 2026. /Kabar/. The International Business Council (IBC) held its annual summer festival, IBC Summer Fest 2026, which brought together over 400 representatives of business, government agencies, international organizations, the diplomatic corps, and the expert community.

According to the IBC, the festival has become one of the country's largest platforms for informal dialogue between business, government, and international partners. Participants discussed prospects for the development of entrepreneurship, the digital economy, financial technologies, and new forms of business cooperation.

At the opening of the event, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov noted that in a rapidly changing economy, platforms for exchanging ideas, finding partners, and implementing joint projects are particularly valuable.

He stated that the new IBC Summer Fest format reflects the organization's commitment to expanding opportunities for professional networking and strengthening business ties.

This year, the festival was held in an open-air format for the first time, with the atmosphere of European fairs and a Mediterranean holiday. The festival became a platform for new acquaintances, the exchange of ideas, and the discussion of joint projects between representatives of various economic sectors.

IBC remains the largest international business association in Kyrgyzstan, uniting more than 160 companies and over 100 partners, including government agencies, international organizations, public associations, and diplomatic missions. The association works to improve the investment climate, streamline legislation, and create conditions for sustainable economic growth.

According to IBC estimates, the annual economic impact of the organization's activities exceeds $50 million, reaching over $100 million in some years.

The event also included a certificate award ceremony for new IBC members. Companies from various sectors of the economy joined the association.
