Bishkek, June 25, 2026 /Kabar/. In Bishkek, the State Insurance Organization paid citizens insurance compensation for OSAGO ( Mandatory Compulsory Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance) and home insurance policies totaling 3,195,732 soms.
The certificate presentation ceremony was held at Kabar agency. The awards were presented by Alima Nurlanova, Deputy Chairperson of the State Insurance Organization, and Marat Kudaibergenov, Director of the Bishkek city branch.
792,000 soms were transferred to a citizen whose home was damaged, and the remainder was paid to victims of road accidents under OSAGO.
According to Marat Kudaibergenov, Director of the Bishkek city branch, insurance payments are being made continuously on a weekly basis.
"Today, we are issuing over 3 million soms in insurance payments. Although OSAGO law was adopted earlier, its mandatory application came into force on June 1, 2025. One year has passed since its entry into force. During this time, a significant amount of funds has been paid to citizens," the director said.
OSAGO insurance payment is compensation paid by insurance company to persons injured in a road accident. If the driver is found guilty in accident, the insurance covers damage caused to the health or property of the other party, to the extent established by law.
