Bishkek, May14, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz National Investment Agency held a meeting with the representatives of the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Bishkek.
According to the agency, the meeting was attended by Hong Duyong, Regional Director for the CIS countries, Kim Jung-hun, his deputy and Ye Gwang-ho, director for Almaty branch.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea, as well as the prospects for expanding interaction with Korean companies and investors.
Representatives of the National Agency presented the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, ongoing reforms to improve the investment climate, state support measures for investors, as well as priority areas for attracting investments, including public-private partnership projects.
In turn, Korean side expressed their interest in strengthening cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic, promoting the country's investment opportunities among the South Korean business community, and facilitating direct contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives aimed at expanding investment and trade and economic interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea and to further develop cooperation.
