Bishkek, June 17, 2026 /Kabar/. The 3rd International IT Conference "Dialogue on the Customs Ecosystem" opened in Issyk-Kul Region today, June 17, bringing together representatives of customs administrations, international organizations, and the expert community from various countries.
According to the State Customs Service, the opening the conference, SCS Chairman Almaz Saliev noted that modern customs today is not only a regulatory body but also an important part of the unified ecosystem of international trade, logistics, and digital interaction.
On the first day, participants discussed current issues related to the digital transformation of customs services, the use of artificial intelligence, the development of digital transit solutions, the integration of information systems, and modern approaches to customs process management. Representatives of the customs administrations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan shared their experiences.
For the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan, studying the practical experience of their international colleagues is particularly valuable. The solutions and successful cases presented allow them to incorporate best international practices when implementing projects to digitalize customs administration, develop modern information systems, and improve the movement of goods across the state border.
The event is being held by the State Customs Service jointly with the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek and the Regional Program "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia/Developing the Potential of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor," implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Government and co-financed by the European Union.
The conference continues. Participants can look forward to new discussions, the exchange of experiences, and the discussion of prospects for the further development of a modern customs ecosystem.
