Bishkek, June 17, 2026 /Kabar/. The Ministry of Finance is placing government securities worth 500 million soms for the public on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE). Myktybek Abirov, Deputy General Director of the KSE told Kabar.

According to him, these securities are issued for a two-year term with a yield of 17% per annum. Citizens can purchase them through the MegaPay mobile app.

"The price of one security is 100 soms. The minimum purchase amount per person is 1,000 soms, which is equivalent to ten securities. The bonds have a two-year maturity. Income will be transferred to the citizen's account quarterly. Furthermore, if the investor urgently needs money, they have the option to sell these securities early. For example, if a citizen decides to sell them after six months, they can withdraw the income received during this period and return their funds," he explained.

As Myktybek Abirov noted, the Ministry of Finance will issue the securities in installments as citizens purchase them, until the entire 500 million soms volume is sold.

"The Kyrgyz Stock Exchange is collaborating with the MegaPay mobile app and is working on a new program." For its part, MegaPay complied with all requirements and developed the appropriate functionality in the app," he added.
