Media plays a huge role in strengthening cooperation among SCO countries, because communications are the most important part of any integration system, said Eduard Kubatov, Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Media Forum.
"The media have played and will continue to play a crucial role in communication between countries, between large regional organizations, and in bilateral relations," he added.
Commenting on the potential for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China in mass communications, Eduard Kubatov noted that it has enormous potential, which, in his opinion, remains completely untapped. "We are now living in an age of new technologies and the influence of artificial intelligence. I believe this potential will reach a completely new level. And this forum is proof that we are entering a new platform, a new format of interaction between the media spaces of Kyrgyzstan and China. China's experience is simply incredible, as China has been actively using artificial intelligence in its communications development system over the past few years. Therefore, we need to study, adapt, and apply the experience and capabilities of Chinese media structures to our conditions," he said.
Speaking about the significance of the signing of a memorandum and cooperation agreement between the media structures of Kyrgyzstan and China, he noted that it is not only about artificial intelligence but also about a closer level of interaction and communication.
According to him, artificial intelligence is an important tool, but the foundation of media remains people, culture, traditions, customs, and everything that happens in real life. At the same time, modern technologies and new communication capabilities help convey this to a global audience.
