Bishkek, June 10, 2026. /Kabar/. In 2025, 171 government workers disciplined for fiscal violations; 14 fired. Accounts Chamber Chairman Almazbek Akmatov told at the meeting of Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, 1,032 procedural violations were identified in government agencies.
"To promptly address the deficiencies, 503 orders, 306 recommendations, and 7 proposals were sent to audited entities. The agency is closely monitoring the implementation of these orders," he noted.
Almazbek Akmatov also reported that efforts to combat corruption and strengthen internal discipline are also underway within the Accounts Chamber itself. Last year, three government employees of the agency were warned, 30 were reprimanded, and two government inspectors were dismissed following internal investigations.
