Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and President of Russia Vladimir Putin has laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square in Bishkek as part of the Russian leader's state visit to Kyrgyzstan.

Accompanied by a military orchestra, guardsmen laid wreaths at the memorial, after which the heads of state bowed and commemorated the fallen heroes.

The wreath-laying ceremony ended with a tribute to those who died in the Great Patriotic War, and three shots were fired.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived today in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit. During the visit Putin will hold several bilateral meetings and take part in the CSTO summit.

This will be Putin’s third state visit to Kyrgyzstan: the first took place during his initial presidential term in 2000, and the second during his previous term in 2019.
