Bishkek, June 18, 2026. /Kabar/. The National Investment Agency under the President monitored the construction of a five-star hotel being built on the shores of the lake in Kara-Oi village of Issyk-Kul region.
According to the information, representatives of the agency learned the current status of construction work, discussed the progress of work and the next stages of completing the construction of the facility.
The hotel is being built within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The project is aimed at developing tourism infrastructure in the region.
It includes hotel rooms of various categories, conference halls, public catering establishments, recreation and health zones. The facility is intended for accommodation of tourists, official delegations, business representatives and participants of international events.
Currently, installation and finishing works are continuing at the facility. The construction of the main building structures of the building has been completed, and internal and external finishing works, as well as the installation of engineering communications and technological equipment, are underway.
The construction of the hotel will contribute to the development of tourism infrastructure in Issyk-Kul region, the creation of new jobs and the expansion of opportunities for attracting investments in the tourism industry.
