Amangeldiev attended the ceremony to launch the construction of a new metal structures plant
Bishkek, June 15, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev attended the ceremony to install the first column, marking the launch of a new, modern metal structures plant(DSKA).
Addressing the event participants, the First deputy chairman congratulated the project team and partners on the start of construction, emphasizing that the launch of the new high-tech facility is taking place against the backdrop of strong and sustainable growth in the national economy and industrial sector.
"According to preliminary estimates, Kyrgyzstan's GDP by the end of 2025 amounted to 1.976 trillion soms, an increase of 11.1%. Industrial output reached almost 800 billion soms, an increase of 10.6%. Manufacturing accounted for almost 80%. This positive trend continues this year: from January to April 2026, industrial output amounted to approximately 299 billion soms, an increase of 14.7% (excluding gold – an increase of 17.9%). The construction sector is demonstrating record growth – construction materials production increased by 39.3%, which is creating a strong domestic demand for metal structures," said Daniyar Amangeldiev.
It should be noted that the new DSKA plant will be equipped with modern automated production lines. The plant's design capacity will exceed 12,000 tons of metal structures per year, which will strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic construction industry and reduce dependence on imports.
Amangeldiev expressed gratitude to domestic businesses for actively investing their own funds in the real sector of the Kyrgyz economy.
"Today's ceremony to lay the first column symbolizes more than just the beginning of construction of a new plant. It embodies our shared confidence in the future, our commitment to creativity, and the tangible contribution of domestic entrepreneurs to strengthening the industrial base and economic potential of Kyrgyzstan," he emphasized.
In conclusion, Daniyar Amangeldiev wished the company's management and staff successful implementation of their plans and the timely completion of construction work. He expressed confidence that the new facility will become a reliable foundation for the development of the country's infrastructure.
