Kyrgyz Customs officers study Korean automation experience

Bishkek, April 6, 2026. /Kabar/. Delegation from the State Customs Service, led by Almaz Saliev, took part in roundtable discussion on "Improving the Global Trade Ecosystem" at Korea Customs Week 2026, the agency's press service reported.

The seminar discussed the development of the digital trade ecosystem, the implementation of single-window mechanisms, the transition to paperless trade, and the use of artificial intelligence and big data analysis in risk management.

Participants also learned about the practices of the Korean Customs Service, including the UNI-PASS digital platform, electronic declaration solutions, and customs process automation.

Kyrgyz State Customs Service emphasized that the discussion and exchange of experiences contributed to the expansion of professional dialogue and the identification of prospects for further cooperation in improving customs administration.

Heads and experts from customs services of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Laos, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region attended the event.
