Bishkek, June 12, 2026 /Kabar/. Experts from the Forensic Service of Kyrgyzstan completed a professional internship at the Institute of Forensic Examinations in Astana, specializing in "Forensic Examination of Metals and Alloys."
According to the service, experts from the Forensic Examination Department of Materials, Substances, and Products, as well as an expert from the Southern Department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, participated in the training.
"For two weeks, specialists worked alongside their Kazakhstani colleagues, learned modern metal and alloy research methods, and participated in expert examinations of varying complexity," the statement reads.
The practical portion of the internship covered determining the elemental composition of metals and alloys, examining precious metal items, and establishing their composition's compliance with the declared fineness. Visual and microscopic examination methods, as well as X-ray fluorescence analysis, were used.
Special attention was also paid to evaluating the research results and preparing expert opinions in accordance with current requirements.
Following the internship, participants received certificates in the specialty "Forensic Examination of Metals and Alloys."
